Cercle d’étude de la Déportation et de la Shoah

L’association Cercle d’étude de la Déportation et de la Shoah-Amicale d’Auschwitz a été créée par l’Amicale des Déportés d’Auschwitz et des camps de Haute-Silésie, aujourd’hui UDA, Union des déportés d’Auschwitz, et des professeurs d’Histoire, dont l’APHG, pour développer l’enseignement de l’Histoire de la déportation et de la Shoah dans sa dimension universelle, assurer le relais entre les anciens déportés et les jeunes générations, inciter à la réflexion sur l’actualité de la défense des droits de l’Homme. Elle se donne pour mission de maintenir vivante la mémoire de la Shoah, contre le négationnisme et l’oubli de ces événements, persuadée que l’étude de la Déportation et de la Shoah a un intérêt universel, qu’elle peut donner à tous, aujourd’hui et demain, les moyens de réfléchir et de résister aux tentations racistes, xénophobes et totalitaires.
Le Cercle d’étude est une association laïque et indépendante.
